Castres est une commune française, située dans le département du Tarn et la région Midi-Pyrénées. Les habitants de Castres sont appelés les Castrais. Castres est généralement connu comme le lieu de naissance du chef socialiste, le célèbre Jean Jaurès, mais aussi pour son musée consacré au peintre et sculpteur Francisco Goya.
